|Summary 內容:||In September 2016, G20 heads of state for the first time recognised the need to ‘scale up green finance’ as China putting forward the Green Finance proposal in the Summit. This has drawn public attention and raised huge interests from investors. Green Bond market almost doubled its issuance in 2016 (US$81 billion) compared with 2015 (US$41.5 billion) and UN Environment estimates that the number of policy measures to 'green' the financial system has more than doubled to over 200 measures across 60 countries. Committed to establishing a Green Financial System and better compliance with the Equator Principle, China has put in great effort in financial regulations, Green Bonds issuance and environmental protection.
In light of the recent events, join us to discuss the achievements and the future of Green Finance in China in a Post-G20 context with Mr Jean-Marc Champagne.
