Summary 內容: She is far more than just a lady.

'The Lady' is a new biographical film depicting the Burmese democracy leader, Aung San Suu Kyi. It is the first cinematic attempt to unfold the story of the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate (1991) with her husband, Michael Aris. Between family and country, love and freedom, the movie provides a context for us to explore the issues of democracy and freedom and the related issues of humanities.

The leading character, Ms. Michelle Yeoh and the film director, Mr. Luc Besson will share some behind-the-scenes scoop and Professor Ian Holliday, our Burma expert from Department of Politics and Public Administration, will examine what political struggles have taken place in Burma.

Don't miss this chance to learn more about Burma, Love and Freedom, not to mention, 'The Lady', Daw Suu, as she is respectfully called.
